The new Champions League season kicked off on September 8–10. For most of the clubs whose official fan gear we offer, it was a very strong start, with a few big wins too. Here's how things went for each team.
Arsenal F.C.: a tough but important win
The English champions won 0–1 in Naples. It wasn't a pretty match, but these are exactly the kind of wins that count at the end of the season. A great start for Arsenal.

FC Barcelona: a confident start
The Catalans beat Feyenoord 5–1 and left no room for doubt. If Barcelona keeps this up, they'll be a very tough opponent for anyone this fall.
Liverpool F.C.: a strong opponent and a good result
Liverpool's first European match under Andoni Iraola ended in a 2–1 win against Atlético Madrid. That's a very good start against an opponent like this in the opening round.

Manchester United F.C.: the team is on the rise
Under Michael Carrick, United are playing better and better, and a 4–0 win in the opening round is further proof. Manchester United fans have reason to be optimistic.

Real Madrid C.F.: a big match right in the opening round
Real hosted Inter and won 2–1. It's the kind of match usually seen later in the tournament, and Real Madrid played it just right.

Paris Saint-Germain: six goals to start
The two-time European champions put six past Slovan Bratislava. PSG clearly has its sights set on a third consecutive title.
FC Bayern München: just as expected
Bayern beat Bodø/Glimt 5–0 and gave the Norwegians no chance. A great start for Bayern München.

Inter FC: a loss, but no need to panic
Inter may have had the toughest possible away fixture to start, at the Santiago Bernabéu. They lost 1–2 but played well against the Spanish champions. Inter's season is only just getting started.
